Ciclo is owned and led by Holistic Nutritionist and Master Nutrition Therapist Emily Scott. Emily is a candidate for the Board Certification in Holistic Nutrition, and is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and The Institute for Functional Medicine. Emily studied Art and Psychology as an undergraduate before starting a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. Her path ultimately led her to begin institutional education in Nutrition Science and receive credentials and certification as a Holistic Nutritionist and Master Nutrition Therapist. In addition to practicing Holistic Nutrition, she also works in Urban Agriculture to support a just and healthy food system.
While working as a Registered Behavior Therapist for a significant amount of her adult life, Emily specialized in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) and Mindfulness. She works to integrate these actionable behavioral modalities into creating successful outcomes for her nutrition clientele, in addition to leaning on her experience listed above.
Through Ciclo, Emily currently supports clients nationally and internationally online through Telehealth. Please visit the "services" page for information regarding nutrition counseling options.
